Earth Save International. Founded by John Robbins. Leads a global movement of people who are taking steps to promote healthy and life sustaining food choices. Educates, inspires and empowers people to shift toward a plant based diet - foods healthy for people and the planet.
The Jane Goodall Institute. For wildlife research, education and conservation. Advances the power of individuals to take informed and compassionate action to improve the environment of all living things.
The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. Promotes preventive medicine, conducts clinical research and encourages higher standards for ethics and effectiveness in research. Lists humane charities, alternatives to animals in education and nutritional information.
An organization that seeks to spread the word on using horse urine to manufacture hormone replacement drugs. Pregnant mares are kept restrained indoors for 6 months a year in order to collect their urine. Once the mares give birth, their foals will often end up at the slaughter house.
The Rainforest Action Network. Works to protect the Earth's rainforests and support the rights of their inhabitants through education, grassroots organizing, and non-violent direct action. Major campaigns to save old growth forests and create a freedom from oil, to end America's oil dependence.
